Michael Wittenberg has always believed the real focus in his professional life is making a difference in the lives of others. His career reflects that philosophy.
Mike started service in VISTA, the domestic Peace Corps in North Carolina. He is a cum laude college graduate who earned a master’s degree in education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, a master's degree in counseling from Capella University and studied at the Wharton School of Business.
Mike’s experience as an educator has enabled him to explain complex investments in understandable, clear terms. He started his financial career in 1984 with one of the country’s top financial services companies. He was promoted from account executive to Senior Vice President of Investments. His knowledge of finances and investments was matched only by his ability to anticipate the needs of his clients.
Mike has served as a retirement planning specialist and helped design retirement planning materials for other financial professionals. He is a leader in his industry and is asked to hold retirement seminars and workshops for large and mid-sized companies. He also teaches courses in Social Security planning, retirement planning, estate planning and investments in the stock market at Forsyth Technical Community College. Additionally, he is the author of Are You Ready Yet?: Protecting and Preparing Your Family for Estate Issues Before and After Death.
